Rescue it
Boards come out of garages, storage, and the waste stream ready for a new chapter.
01 · OUR MISSION
We give used and unwanted surfboards a second life while creating new opportunities for youth, ocean therapy participants, and underserved communities.
01 WHY WE EXIST
Surfboard restoration is the vehicle. Creativity, confidence, education, environmental stewardship, and connection are the destination.
Every board already carries a history. Our work honors that history, keeps usable materials out of the waste stream, and creates a welcoming place where people can learn with their hands.
From a first repair to a first wave, the process builds patience, problem solving, pride, and a real relationship with the ocean.
02 THE SECOND WAVE
No velvet ropes. This is a laid-back classroom inside a fully operational surfboard factory.
Boards come out of garages, storage, and the waste stream ready for a new chapter.
Participants learn repair, shaping, problem solving, and the patience behind craftsmanship.
The finished board heads toward the water with a new story and a new rider.
03 WHAT GUIDES US
Real tools, real technique, and the satisfaction of making something useful again.
More people deserve a way into surf culture, ocean spaces, and hands-on learning.
Repair what can be repaired. Reuse what can be reused. Waste less.
Boards bring mentors, families, partners, and neighbors together around a shared purpose.
04 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our leadership is taking shape around surf culture, youth advocacy, therapy, education, and environmental stewardship.
Full director profiles will be added as appointments are finalized.
